Does the output PSD have real layers or just one flat layer?

Real layers. Most online converters embed the PNG as a single locked bitmap inside a PSD container — you still cannot edit individual elements separately. ImageToPSD uses AI to separate the image into independent layers: background, foreground subjects, and design elements each on their own layer.

Does PNG to PSD preserve transparency?

Yes. Alpha channels in your PNG are fully preserved in the output PSD. Transparent areas remain transparent across all layers — ideal for logos, UI assets, and cutout images.

Can I control what the AI separates with a prompt?

What kind of PNG images get the best results?
